Whiteoak High School is a public high school in Mowrystown, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Bright Local Schools district. The nickname is the Wildcats. The school's population is roughly 258 as of the 2008-2009 school year, all of which are Caucasian. The student-teacher ratio is 17:1. The high school and jr. high are in the same building. There is an alternative high school - Southern Hills Joint Vocational School.

Athletics

Whiteoak competes in the Southern Hills Athletic League and is a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association. Whiteoak's main and most recognized sport is basketball (girls and boys). The school also has baseball, cross-country (girls and boys), track (girls and boys), softball, golf, volleyball, and cheerleading.
